At the tail end of NYFW fashion brand Collina Strada invited hundreds of guests upstate to Storm King, an outdoor sculpture park in New York’s Hudson Valley. Following the parade of pastel designs shown at the label’s spring 2027 show, the after-party encouraged attendees to sprawl on an assortment of splashy rugs and sofas that make up Collina Strada’s first home collection.
Founder Hillary Taymour partnered with Swedish design house Layered on the line, which features four hand-tufted rugs and two modular, low-slung sofas. At the event, some rugs were laid out on the grass in lieu of picnic blankets for guests to lounge on while nibbling on light bites; others were suspended from metal frames like tapestries. Corduroy pillows in Petal Plum—a floral print lifted from the floor of the brand’s New York flagship store—doubled as soft seating, perfect for basking in the sun.
The same pale pink plaid print that appeared in Collina Strada’s fall 2026 show resurfaced in its Garden Pop rug and Plaid Garden sofa. Other highlights of the garden party included a pair of dynamic floral rugs—one that sprouts blooms beyond its edges, and another carved into an organic silhouette—that appeared in harmony with their natural surroundings.
